Yes, that’s really his name! Mark’s passion for all things Christmas combined with his skills as a master sculptor, Christmas Ornament creator and set designer creates an attraction for all ages.
This walk-through series of professional displays will feature hundreds of authentic props, costumes and production still photographs, with special video excerpts from many of your favorite Christmas movies including “The Grinch That Stole Christmas”, “Elf”, “Jingle All The Way”, “Santa Claus: The Movie” and many others. This is the only place you will see the 16’ tall Grinch sleigh! You will also see toys from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s in the “I had that toy!” exhibit. Nostalgia reigns when you look at vintage toy commercials, old TV specials and a 1960’s era Mold-A-Rama toy machine that will make you a toy right in front of your eyes! And to top it all off, it might even be snowing inside the building!! Our return to the Powerhouse will take us through the magical annual lighting display in Independence, Ohio as an added treat. (Must have 25 people signed up for public tour to go out.)

25th Anniversary
You’ve seen the movie “A Christmas Story” along with 40 million other people in marathon showings on cable TV. Now you can visit the house, museum & gift shop in person! Filmed partially in Cleveland and released in 1983, the story of Ralphie Parker and his Red Ryder 200-shot Carbine Action Air Rifle comes to life on this nostalgic tour. The tour includes information about Public Square, Ohio City, Tremont and admissions to both the Christmas Story House (lovingly renovated and furnished) and the separate Museum & Gift Shop. You can see items from the movie on display along with over 100 behind-the-scenes photos, and movie-related memorabilia is available for sale. And, yes, Black Bart’s shed is still there to see! You will also learn the story behind the house’s purchase and restoration and some fun facts about the movie. You may not win a “major award”, but you will have fun on the A Christmas Story House Tour! NOTE: ALL TOURS DEPART FROM THE POWERHOUSE @ NAUTICA ON FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS @ 6:00 PM AND ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT 4:00 PM. Tour is 1.5 to 2 hours long.

Shuttle Service to the Christmas Story House
Friday, November 28th from 12 Noon to 5:30 PM
Saturday, November 29th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Lolly the Trolley will be running shuttles to the Christmas Story House from the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel Friday, November 28th and Saturday, November 29th only.
Fares will be $6 for Adults and $4 for Children for transportation only. You must also buy your tickets to see the house once we drop you off unless you have a “Ralphie Pass” from the Christmas Story House or the hotel.

Tinsel, Tales, and Trees!
The best of Trolley Tours and the Holiday Season merge as you experience our nationally known narrated One Hour City Sightseeing Tour featuring the past, present and future of Cleveland while viewing the available lights. You will see and learn about North Coast Harbor, Public Square, Downtown, the Warehouse District, Gateway and the Playhouse Square Theater District. Then it’s off to the Cleveland Play House Festival of Trees to stroll indoors among the delightful decorator-designed “themed trees” and to gather ideas for your holiday house! The public tour is approximately 2 hours long. When available, we try to include a short stop at the Arcade or Tower City. (No tours or charters Dec. 24, 25 or 31.)

Join us for our nationally known One Hour City Sightseeing Tour at night! Learn about the past, present and future of our All-American City! This fully narrated tour features Downtown and Public Square, North Coast Harbor, the Warehouse District, Gateway and the Playhouse Square Theater District. If time is available there may be a short stop at the Arcade or Tower City.

Family Fun Nights provide an enjoyable 45 minute ride on Lolly the Trolley and is especially designed for families with younger children. Not too long and not too short, this ride includes available lights in Public Square, North Coast Harbor, and a stop at Tower City or the Arcade to see the decorations.(Actual route will be at the discretion of the driver.)
Family Fun Rides are now available to large groups on dates not shown above as a charter from the Powerhouse or a downtown location if there is availability. The flat rate for the trolley would be $350 including tax and gratuity and your group would have to decide how to apportion the cost.

Lights: Trolley Tours is making a best effort to provide a Holiday Lights Ride and cannot guarantee the quantity or quality of lights or displays to be seen in Cleveland.
Dress: Dress according to the weather conditions since you may be getting on and off the trolley at some point. Trolleys have heat and windows but are not as warm as your car. Feel free to bring extra blankets for the very young or older folks in your party. The windows on the trolley sometimes fog up during the ride and we provide cloths to wipe them off.
Food/Beverages: There is no eating, drinking or smoking permitted on the Trolley at any time.
Weather and Other Cancellations: (1) Trolley Tours reserves the right to cancel the rides if the temperature drops below 10 degrees or if the company determines driving conditions to be hazardous due to ice, snow or fog. (2) Trolley tours reserves the right to cancel if there are too few reservations for a given tour. If Trolley Tours cancels a ride you may reschedule, or Trolley Tours will refund your money.
Off Days: There are no public or charter rides or tours December 24, 25 or 31.
Public Tour Information
Purchasing Tickets: Pre-paid reservations are required for all Holiday Lights Rides. You may pre-pay via AMEX, Visa or Mastercard when you call to reserve your seats. In some cases, payment by check, money order or cash is permitted within 3 days of making your reservation. All fares are now subject to a 7.75% state sales tax.
Cancellations/Refunds: Once you have purchased your seats for the Holiday Lights Rides there are NO CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. All reservations must be pre-paid by credit card when you call to reserve your seats. YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION LETTER BY MAIL WHICH YOU MUST READ AND BRING WITH YOU.
The Station & Parking: Holiday Lights Rides for individuals and small groups depart from the Powerhouse @ Nautica on the west bank of the Flats. Parking fees at the attended lot are $2.00 per car, when you show your confirmation letter. Enter the Powerhouse through the green awning. Trolley Tours has a desk at the top of the stairs on the 2nd level.
Departure Times: Holiday Lights Rides depart promptly at the times indicated on your confirmation letter. Plan on arriving at least 20 minutes early to check in and to receive your trolley assignment and wrist bands. Please have one person be in charge of your group.
