You’ve seen the movie "A Christmas Story" along with 40 million other people in marathon showings on cable TV. Now you can visit the house, museum & gift shop in person! Filmed partially in Cleveland and released in 1983, the story of Ralphie Parker and his Red Ryder 200-shot Carbine Action Air Rifle comes to life on this nostalgic tour. The tour includes admissions to the Christmas Story House (lovingly renovated and furnished) and the separate Museum & Gift Shop. You can see items from the movie on display along with over 100 behind-the-scenes photos, and movie-related memorabilia is available for sale. And, yes, Black Bart’s shed is still there to see! The tour will also show you trendy Tremont, the Higbee Building and Public Square where the parade scene was filmed. You will also learn the story behind the house's purchase and restoration and some fun facts about the movie. You may not win a "major award", but you will have fun on the A Christmas Story House Tour! Tour is 1.5 to 2 hours long.
There are no rides or tours Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Year's Day. All fares are now subject to a 7.75% State Sales Tax.

For 2012 we are extending our Silver Bells tour into trendy Tremont including a ride by the famous house from the movie A Christmas Story (there will NOT be a stop just a ride by the house.) You will also learn about Clevelands past, present and future while seeing the available lights in Public Square and Playhouse Square. This tour will last approximately 1.5 hours depending on traffic and weather. NEW DEPARTURE TIME IS 7:30 PM FROM THE STATION FOR THE 2012 SEASON.

Lights: Trolley Tours is making a best effort to provide a Holiday Lights Ride and cannot guarantee the quantity or quality of lights or displays to be seen in Cleveland.
Dress: Dress according to the weather conditions since you may be getting on and off the trolley at some point. Trolleys have heat and windows but are not as warm as your car. Feel free to bring extra blankets for the very young or older folks in your party. The windows on the trolley sometimes fog up during the ride and we provide cloths to wipe them off.
Food/Beverages: There is no eating, drinking or smoking permitted on the Trolley at any time.
Weather and Other Cancellations: (1) Trolley Tours reserves the right to cancel the rides if the temperature drops below 10 degrees or if the company determines driving conditions to be hazardous due to ice, snow or fog. (2) Trolley tours reserves the right to cancel if there are too few reservations for a given tour. If Trolley Tours cancels a ride you may reschedule, or Trolley Tours will refund your money.
Off Days: There are no public or charter rides or tours December 24, 25 or 31.
Contract: To reserve an entire trolley for your group’s Holiday Lights Ride you must set up a contract with Trolley Tours of Cleveland. Please read the descriptions carefully for available dates and times and call Trolley Tours with your preferred date and at least one alternate date. Please be aware that trolleys hold up to 38 people.
Cancellations: Should you cancel your charter less than 30 days before your charter date, Trolley Tours reserves the right to keep your 60% deposit as a cancellation fee.
Payment: When you set up your contract you must provide a 60% deposit at the time of booking via AMEX, Visa or Mastercard. In some cases, Cash, Checks or Money Orders will be taken within 5 days of your booking. Your balance must be paid in full on or before your charter date. Please be aware that all charters are now subject to a 7.75% state sales tax unless your organization is tax exempt and can present proper certification.
